Context
Oxford University Bank is a locally owned and operated community bank committed to serving the people of Oxford and Lafayette County, MS.
OUB was seeking a new experience strategy that included NCR’s Interactive Teller digital solution and allowed OUB to grow and expand without compromising their very high-touch banking service. As a small community bank they are reliant on the personal relationships with their customers, which tend to be analogue and intimate. They wanted to make investments to ensure their offerings are aligned to the needs of customers—allowing for extended hours, efficiency in teller banking services, yet continue to be personal.
Approach
Our engagement with OUB included two new branches, with the desire to have a unique brand per each location. The Client uses a unique name and logo for each different city they have presence. The Jackson Avenue property is the second location, replacing a relocated branch, in Oxford, MS. We developed a core set of engagement modules for the new experience. These modules are then clad in different materials within each of the different branches, reflecting the look of the local city and brand. The commonality of the modules allows OUB to train and serve consistently as well as for ease of adaption if staff migrate to other locations. There is also efficiency in the build without compromise to the unique look of each location.
The branch opened in mid-April 2022, with a soft opening. updates to follow.
